Eligibility

1. Program is for existing homes only and is not available for new construction.
2. Only one Connect to Gas rebate per appliance or system installed per household.
3. You must apply within 60 days of installation.

How To Apply

1. Obtain a pre-qualification code before submitting your rebate application.
2. Ensure you meet the eligibility requirements prior to purchasing any equipment. FortisBC is not responsible for any costs that are incurred as a result of a failure by customer to meet the eligibility criteria or otherwise comply with the terms and conditions.
3. Purchase an eligible natural gas space heating system and have it installed by Sebco Gas licensed with Technical Safety BC. 
4. Complete the required rebate application and have Sebco Gas complete and sign their part:
   • $1,300 rebate for installing a qualifying natural gas heating system
   Include a copy of your paid invoice(s) showing details of all work performed, including the purchase date, make, model, installation permit number and the gas contractor’s Technical Safety BC licence number.
5. Email or mail the completed and signed application(s) with a copy of your invoice, postmarked within 60 days of the installation date of the heating system, to:
